Alla Smith is an artist with a background in realistic portraits and landscapes. A lover of Impressionism and admirer of the classic painters, she grew up telling wild and creative stories that enchanted her listeners. Originally from Ukraine, Alla moved from Portland to Sweet Home with her husband and four children, spending her time writing and sharing stories that bring people joy.

Born in California, Jim Corley discovered his passion for storytelling in third grade. A transformative encounter during college led him to a global enterprise, where he traveled extensively across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, deepening his understanding of diverse cultures. Claiming her birthright, Jim and Lynetta live in Sweet Home, where he continues crafting captivating narratives that explore the intersections of fact and imagination.

Lana W. Holden
Lana teaches World History, English, and Creative Writing at Sweet Home Junior High School. After several years of research, she published her first historical fiction novel, "Catalyntje Trico: A Life in New Amsterdam." In her leisure time, Lana and her husband enjoy wandering through the forests of the Cascade Mountains with their black lab. Lana enjoys reading books and old journals, tending her garden, visiting cemeteries, and discovering interesting historical facts wherever she can find them.
